The Favorites List Management page gives you an overview of your existing Favorites Lists and the ability to quickly add new lists.

Create a New List – Now you can create a new "Static" or "Dynamic" Favorites List from one place. Simply name your list and then select "Static" or "Dynamic" as the list type in the "Choose a Type" dropdown. Please note that "Dynamic" lists are the same thing as the old "Auto-Update" lists. For more information on the differences between these two types of lists, please click on the question mark icon to the right of "Choose a Type."
Upload Your List – This tool allows you to download an Excel template and use it to create a Favorites List. To begin, click the "Download Template" button to download the Excel spreadsheet. Step-by-step instructions are included on the "Instructions" tab to help walk you through the process. When finished, click on the "Upload List" button to locate your file saved on your computer and upload it to create a new list. (It is recommended to limit a Favorites List upload to 100 items or less.)
My Favorites Lists – This dashboard displays your existing and new "Favorites Lists." The table displays five important columns of information:

1. Name – This column displays the name of each of your "Favorites Lists." Simply click on a list name to view its details.
2. Privacy – This column shows whether the list is "Private" (only viewable by you) or "Shared" (able to be viewed by all users tied to the same account number.)
3. Type – This column displays if the list is "Static" or "Dynamic."
4. # of Items – This column shows the number of items in each "Static" list. "Dynamic" lists simply display "Dynamic" in this column since the number can vary.
5. Actions – This column shows a series of icons that can perform actions for the entire list. The first icon exports the entire list. The second icon adds the items in a list to your shopping cart. The third icon allows you to make a copy of your list. The fourth icon deletes the entire list. For "Dynamic" lists, a fifth icon displays that allows you to edit the settings of the list criteria.

As a helpful tool, please refer to the icon legend that displays above the table.

This page can be accessed by clicking on the name of any of your Favorites Lists in the "My Favorites Lists" table on the "Favorites List Management" page.

Favorites List Name – Your Favorites List's name is displayed near the top of the page. Click on "Rename This List" to change the name of your Favorites List.

Using Action Icons for Selected Items – Use the icons under the list's name to add selected items to your shopping cart, another "Favorites List, your bin label printer, or your custom catalog printer. To get started, simply select one or more items from your list by clicking the box next to "Select" above each item's image. This will add a checkmark in the box to indicate that you have selected it. To select all items, you can click "All" next to the word "Select" at the top of the page under the icons. The number of items that you have selected will display under the list name. Click the shopping cart icon near the top of the page to add all of the selected items to your shopping cart. Click on the Favorites List icon to copy all of the selected items to an existing or a new Favorites List. Click on the bin label icon to add all selected items to your bin label printer. Click on the custom catalog icon to add all of the selected items to your custom catalog printer. You may also click on "Remove Selected Items" to delete all of the selected items from your Favorites List. The "Remove Selected Items" option only appears once you have selected at least one item. (Note: The ability to remove items is available for "Static" lists only.)

Export Favorites List – To export your Favorites List to Excel, click on the "Export List" button and open or save the file to your computer.

Delete List – To delete your entire Favorites List, click the "Delete List" button.

Sort Favorites List – You can sort the items in your Favorites List by Date Added, Item #, Manufacturer, or Product Category. Simply select your desired sort method in the dropdown selector.

Item Quantities – The quantity indicated in the Qty box will be the amount that is added to your shopping cart when selected. Please note that quantity changes will save automatically now as soon as you click outside of the box. You no longer need to click the "Update Quantities" button, which no longer exists. (Note: The ability to change quantities is available for "Static" lists only.)

Remove a Single Item – To delete a single item from a favorites list, simply click "Remove Item." The link works at the item level only, and does not take into account which items you have selected in your list. (Note: This is available for "Static" lists only.)

Performing an Action for a Single Item – To perform an action (adding to shopping cart, adding to another favorites list, emailing the product information, adding to the bin label printer, or adding to the custom catalog printer) for a single item, use the action icons in the gray toolbar in the bottom-right corner of each item's row. These icons work for the item only, and do not take into account which items you have selected in your list.

List Information & Privacy Settings – "List Information" will give you a quick snapshot of your list type and the number of items in your list. In this box, you can click the "Privacy Settings" button to edit your privacy settings ("Private" or "Shared"). Please note that if you are viewing a "Dynamic" list, this box also displays your List Settings and allows you to edit them by clicking the "Edit List Settings" button (not currently displayed in the "Static" list image above).

Add Items to List – You can add items to your Favorites List by entering the Item # and quantity in the corresponding boxes. (Note: This feature is not available for "Dynamic" lists.)

My Lists – Easily navigate among your Favorites Lists without going back to the "Favorites List Management" page. Simply click on the name of another Favorites List to display its details. If you want to return to the "Favorites List Management" page, click the "List Management" button.

There are two ways you can create a Favorites List from the "Favorites List Management" page.

Create a Static or Dynamic List

Under "Create a New List," enter the name for the list you want to create. Then, choose whether you want your list to be "Static" or "Dynamic". Finally, click "Create List."

For more information on the differences between "Static" and "Dynamic" types of lists, click the small question mark icon located to the right of "Choose a Type."

Upload a Static List Using the Favorites List Excel Template

1. Click the "Download Template" button located on the left-hand side of the "Favorites List Management" page to download and save the file.
2. Empty the sample content that is displayed in rows 2 through 16 in the "Favorites Lists" tab of this template file (do not delete the column headers that appear in row 1).
3. Enter a new list name in cell A2.
4. Enter an item number in cell B2 that you would like to include in the list that you named in cell A2.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to continue adding items to your list.
   IMPORTANT: A list name must be entered in column A for all items that appear in column B in order to add these items to your Favorites List. To add more than one item to one list, repeat the list name in column A for each item that you would like to include in your list. You may create more than one list at a time by entering more than one list name in column A(see sample data that appears in the "Favorites Lists" tab of this template.)
6. When you have finished adding products to the "Favorites Lists" tab, select "Save As" in Excel to save this file.
7. Selecting "Save As" will prompt a security alert asking you if you want to proceed. Select "Yes," then choose a location and name for this file that would make it easy for you to locate. Be sure to select Excel 97-2003 Workbook (*.xls) or Excel Workbook (*xlsx) as your "Save As Type."
8. Go back to our Web site, log in, and select your account. Click on "Web Tools" in the header toolbar (the black bar at the top) and select Favorites List.
9. Click the "Upload List" button on the"Favorites List Management" page.
10. Click the "Browse" button to locate your file. Select the file, then click the "Upload" button.
11. Your list names will appear along with a count of valid and invalid product numbers.
12. Click the "Create List" link located in the last column for each of the lists that you would like to add to your account.
13. Your list has been created and saved to your Web account.

There are numerous ways that you can add items to a static Favorites List.

From the "Add Items to List" Box on the Favorites List Details Page

1. Enter the item number and quantity for the item you want to add.
2. Click "Add to List" to save the item in your Favorites List.

From Any Search Results Page

1. Click the star icon underneath (grid view) or to the far right of (list view) the item you want added to your list.
2. Choose the name of a saved static list or create a new one for the item.
3. Select the quantity of each item to be added to your list.
4. Click "Add to List" to finish adding the itemto your list.

*You can also click "Quick Info" located under the item's image. After the pop-up appears, click "Add to Favorites."

From Any Product Detail Page

1. Click the star icon underneath the item's "Unit Type" information.
2. Choose the name of a saved static list or create a new one for the item.
3. Select the quantity of the item to be added to your list.
4. Click "Add to List" to finish adding the item to your list.

From Your Invoice History Page

1. Click "Invoice History"located in the dropdown menu for "Orders & Quotes" in the Web site's header.
2. Click any of the numbers located under the column titled "Invoice # Details."
3. Check boxes for desired items from the list at the bottom of the page. You can also check the box for (Check All).
4. Click "Add Selected to Favorites List.
5. Choose the name of a saved static list or create a new one for the item.
6. Click "Add to List" to finish adding the item to your list.

You can export entire lists, add them to your Shopping Cart, duplicate them, or delete them by clicking on the corresponding icon located in the "Actions" column of the "My Favorites Lists" table on the "Favorites List Management" page. You can also edit the settings for a Dynamic list using the "Edit Settings" paper and pen icon under the "Actions" column. To assist you, a gray icon legend is located above the "My Favorites Lists" table.
To view the contents of any list, select the list's name in the "My Favorites Lists" table on the "Favorites List Management" page. From the list's details page, you can add some or all items to your shopping cart, delete some or all items from your list, add some or all items to your "Bin Labels" or "Custom Catalog," and email product information.

Add Items to Your Shopping Cart

1. Check the box next to "Select" above the product image for each item to be added to your Shopping Cart. To select all items, click "All" next to "Select" at the top of the list underthe list name to select all items in your Favorites List.
2. Click the shopping cart icon located at the top of the list to add the selected items to your cart.

 Add Items to Another Favorites List

1. Check the box next to "Select" above the product image for each item to be added to your Shopping Cart. To select all items, click"All" next to "Select" at the top of the list under the list name to select all items in your Favorites List.
2. Click the star icon located at the top of the list to add the selected items to another list.
3. Choose one of your current lists or create a new one.
4. Click "Add."

*Follow these same steps to add all items from a "Dynamic" list to a new or current "Static" list.

Add Items to "Bin Labels"

1. Check the box next to "Select" above the product image for each item to be added to your Shopping Cart.  To select all items, click "All" next to "Select" at the top of the list under the list name to select all items in your Favorites List.
2. Click the "Bin Labels" tag icon located at the top of the list to add the selected items to your "BinLabels."

Add Items to "Custom Catalog"

1. Check the box next to "Select" above the product image for each item to be added to your Shopping Cart. To select all items, click"All" next to "Select" at the top of the list under the list name to select all items in your Favorites List.
2. Click the "Custom Catalog" book icon located at the top of your list to add all items to a "Custom Catalog".

*See instructions for "Custom Catalog" for information about how to proceed.

Delete All Items from Your Favorites List

1. Check the box next to "Select" above the product image for each item that you would like to delete. If you’d like to delete all items, click "All" next to "Select" at the top of your list under the list name. An option will then appear to the right as "Remove Selected Items." Click it to remove all items from your list.
2. Note: To delete the entire Favorites List, click the "Delete List" button located at the top of your list.

*This function is only available for "Static lists.

Add One Item to Your Shopping Cart, Another "Favorites List," "Bin Labels," or "Custom Catalog"

To perform an action on one specific item, you can also utilize the icons in the gray toolbar at the far right of each item.

1. Click on the "Shopping Cart" icon to add that specific item to the cart.
2. Click on the star icon to add that item to another Favorites List.
3. Click on the "Bin Labels" tag icon to add that item to the "Bin Labels."
4. Click on the "Custom Catalog" book icon to add that item to the "Custom Catalog."

*You can also click on the envelope icon to email the product information to someone.

Sort Items in Your List

1. Click on the dropdown box located next to "Sort by:" at the top of your list.
2. Sort your list by price, item number, manufacturer name, or product category.

Rename Your List

1. Click on "Rename This List" located to the right of your list's current name. It's found at the top of your list.
2. Enter a new name for your list and click "Save" to rename your list.

Update Product Quantities in Your List

It's easier than ever for you to update product quantities in your Favorites List. Simply enter the quantity you want in the box provided for each product.

As soon as you click in an area outside of the box, your quantity will update and save automatically. You should see a green checkmark to show the updated quantity and the new extended pricing.

The quantity indicated next to each item in the Qty box will be the amount added to your shopping cart.

Navigate Between Favorites Lists

While viewing one of your "Favorites List," you can easily switch to another of your lists using the "My Lists" feature. "My Lists" is located at the bottom left of your screen when you're looking at one of your "Favorites Lists" details.

It displays all of the names of your saved lists. Simply click the name of a list under "My Lists" to view its contents. You can also go back to the main "Favorites List Management" page by clicking "List Management."

Save or Print a Favorites List with Excel

To save or print a copy of any of your "Favorites Lists", download it by clicking on the "Export This Favorites List" icon. This icon is located in the "Actions" column of the "My Favorites List" table on the "Favorites List Management" page.

You can also save or print a copy of your list while viewing the list's contents. Click on the name of any of your "Favorites Lists" to view its items. The "Export List" button is located at the top-right of the list you choose.

You can change the privacy settings for each of your "Favorites Lists." Click on the name of any of your lists to be taken to that list's page.

Under "List Information" at the top left portion of the screen, you will see the privacy information for that list. As a default, "Favorites Lists" are "Private" when they are created, meaning that only the user who created the list has access to it. Click the "Edit Privacy Settings" button to change the list's settings. Your two alternate options are:

1. Share this list with other users for this account.
2. Allow other users to make changes to this list.

The first option will allow all other users with access to the same account number to see your Favorites List. The second option will allow all other users with access to the same account number to not only see the Favorites List, but also have the ability to edit it.

If desired, check the box for one or both of these two options and then click the "Submit" button. If you decide not to make changes, click the "Cancel" button.

Click on the "Edit Settings" paper and pen icon located to the far right of your saved Dynamic lists in the "Actions" column of the "My Favorites Lists" table on the "Favorites List Management" page. Or, click the "Edit List Settings" button under "List Settings" in the gray box located on the left-hand side of each Dynamic list's detail page.

You have the ability to edit the following criteria for generating your Dynamic list:

1. Include products ordered within the last 3, 6, 12, or 18 months.
2. Include products shipped to all locations on this account, or just one specific ship-to location.
3. Include items from all product categories, or select one or more product categories from the drop-down selector.
4. *You can also check the box to include only environmentally friendly (green) products in your list.

Click "Submit" to update your list's settings or "Cancel" to stop your changes from saving.
